A lovely dining experience after my girlfriend and I had been out walking. We went for the Pastrami Ruban ciabatta and the Northern Fried Chicken & Bacon Stack. Both extremely tasty, fresh and packed with flavour. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, asking if either of us had any allergies prior to ordering and overall we had a lovely time. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to find a nice walk in restaurant after a hike in the hills.

Warmly welcomed and served quickly despite being busy. Coffee was delicious and served in a quirky cup with cute teaspoon, really nice attention to detail here. Sandwich was well filled and tasted (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado). We ordered cakes to go - banana, choc and baileys and chocolate peanut butter. Both delicious!
The flat white was perfectly hot and full of flavor, and the truffle mushroom on sourdough was fresh, hot, and testy. Service was quick despite the busy vibe. Highly recommend this cozy spot in Ambleside!

Fantastic cafe for breakfast. I’ve been for 3 years now and again this morning had a fantastic full English. It was queuing out the door 10 mins before they opened and every table was quickly served. Great service. Thank you, looking forward to next year already.
